"I have been a loyal State Farm customer for over three years, paying between $160–$180 per month for full coverage — nearly $6,000 in the 3 years time. I have upheld my end of the contract by paying premiums consistently and on time, in good faith, with the expectation of protection and fair treatment. Now, I am being told my policy may be canceled simply because I filed claims — which is precisely the reason I carry full coverage in the first place. Insurance exists to provide financial protection when unexpected events occur. Penalizing or canceling a customer for using the very coverage they’ve paid for is not only unfair, it borders on a bad faith practice and raises serious concerns about consumer protection. While I acknowledge that I have had multiple claims, State Farm’s actual payouts have been relatively modest — approximately $7,127 — far less than the total premiums I have paid into my policy over time. In many cases, the claims resulted in little to no payment by State Farm. To cancel my coverage under these circumstances appears less like risk management and more like an attempt to remove a paying customer once they actually rely on their policy. As a consumer, I have the right to fair treatment, transparency, and coverage that reflects the contract I have faithfully upheld. Insurance regulators and consumer protection laws exist to prevent companies from unfairly dropping loyal policyholders who have met their obligations. If State Farm follows through with canceling my policy despite my loyalty and payment history, it raises questions about whether the company is acting in good faith and in compliance with the principles of consumer protection. I am urging State Farm to reconsider. I want to remain a customer and continue my relationship with a company that claims to stand by its policyholders. But if my coverage is dropped after years of consistent payments and relatively small payouts, I will be left with no choice but to view this as unfair treatment and explore my options for recourse."

"I have been working with Jeunesse for over a year with car insurance, and now, homeowners too. As you know- car insurance can be very expensive in DC- and she works with you to understand converage and to find competitive rates - all with a trusted company like State Farm.
